  1. checked the menu, which I didn't know was there...nothing there to make it stop opening....this problem has only started a few months ago, for no apparent reason....looking at the lock itself, with the covers off, you can see the mechanism "flinch" slightly as the key fob is pressed, so I'm thinking that power is getting there, but it's something mechanical that's not working. I've ordered a new tailgate lock, and will replace it when it arrives...thanks for you help...
  2. No, the tailgate remains locked, and only releases the lock if you stand beside it and hold the keyfob button in for a few seconds...
  3. the tailgate does not unlock when I press the "unlock" button on my key fob...the four doors unlock no problem, but only by standing beside the tailgate, and holding the tailgate button on the fob for a few seconds, can you hear the sensors click, and the tailgate door is released...
  4. I want to "hard wire" my dashcam, so that it switches off when the ignition goes off. At the moment, I have to unplug the power socket when I exit the car. I have looked at both fuse boxes, and was going to use the ignition fuse (under the bonnet, #16 on my Owners manual). Unfortunately, #16 on my car is empty !!!! Obviously, there has to be a fuse for the ignition, but I don't know which one it is. TIA
