Has anyone here solved the awful bad interior door handles? My drivers side almost would rip off if I pull it too strong, and they all four whine and crackle when you grab them strong, pre facelift Octys that I was inside seem to have stronger door handles ( not the opening handle to be clear ) ?

Sorry but I laughed so hard at this 😅 Btw arent Golf and Octy basically same car. What does even mean to share the same platform

I have also similar problem as the post above me. It's 2009 octavia 1.9 77kw. BJB engine. 140.000kms. I havent touched anything yet, mine simptoms are also some periodical vibrations in idle when engine is warm, and also when starting warm engine it shakes more and takes a fraction of a second longer. The vibrations are not that strong, nobody driving with me even noticed anything yet but i notice them always as soon as they start

Thanks for the answer. I don't care about emissions neither since in Bosnia 50% of cars are still Euro 3 or even less , i'm just asking for myself to confirm that it can actually be Euro 4 or that's just in my weird country lol.

Sorry guys for bumping the thread, I have recently got a 2009 Octavia 1.9 tdi BJB engine. In my state they are shown as Euro 4 standard but on this forum i read that they are Euro 3, since they do not have egr valve cooling? How can i check if mine has Egr cooling? Or is it just my states regulative different? Thanks in advance
