  1. Hi everyone, further to this post it seems that it was the front carriers (not rear) and that it is a common problem. But an expensive job at £246 + each for genuine parts! Could have bought after market ones on ebay a lot, lot cheaper and I could have done the job for him. Youngsters will learn as time and life goes on!! Regards.
  2. Thanks for the replies but I think my lad has given them the ok to carry on. What can you do when he has made up his mind. Regards.
  3. Hi, the garage (non franchise) that my Son uses have told him that the rear calliper carriers are lose (a common problem according to them) and need replacing. My question is: is this a common problem, and why would they need replacing rather than tightening up? Regards.
  4. Hi, thanks for the reply. Sorry about the delay in acknowledging your answer. Regards.
  5. Hi thanks for replying. Would it therefore be easier to just replace with a new arm complete with bushes? Regards.
  6. Hi everyone, has anyone changed the bushes on the front lower wish bone arms on a Superb DSG 2008 and if so is it a difficult job? Regards.
