SKODA KAROQ 1.5 PETROL AUTOMATIC (BOUGHT MAY 2019, NEVER BEEN BACK TO GARAGE 4820 MILES ON CLOCK, 36.9/MPG FROM START)
I’m in dispute at the moment with Garage re-servicing. I decided to cancel the service and when I was on the phone I was informed there was a recall on the car. Didn’t say what for so I checked out to see if there was a recall and there was. I phoned Garage back and asked what the recall was for and was informed it was engine management software, asked when this was put on the record didn’t get a reply. What I would like to know is,
When was this recall issued
Why was I not informed
What is the recall for, and is the car dangerous or something to do with the very poor fuel consumption 36.9mpg (I’m not a boy racer and a very steady driver)
the servicing dispute will be posted on another topic and the above would not have come to light if I had not had a problem getting the car serviced
