Should I use some kind of cloth on top of the plastics so it wouldn't deform? Do you know what kind of double sided tape it was(i'm planning to put them back)?

Hello, I have owned 2006 year vRS estate for about two months now, and I have noticed few rust spots. The ones that concern me are below(pictures). The question is how to remove these decorative plastics? How are they connected to the sill(double sided tape?). For some reason I couldn't find anything on google. Maybe I was searching with wrong words.. 😓 BACK FRONT

Hello☺️, I have been enjoying my newly acquaired 2006 year Škoda vRS estate. So far so good. After many washes(by hand), I have noticed few rusty boys on body😟. Will try to fix them by winter. By previos owner(s) the car was retrofitted with android headunit, front dashcam, bearlock for antitheft and something else which doesnt come to mind right now.. Here are few pics Went to pick up the car. In his home Gave him a good wash after first week So far done front speaker upgrade on both doors. After installing new speakers I cant listen music very loudly because of (rattling from tweeter?) sound. All the wiring was done correctly. Idk how to find the mistake. Speakers are Alpine S-S65C
