County down yea. Think a grand at the minute is def not a goer. Might have to go standard and reconsider the map

Ive just started a thread re clutch for what sounds like exactly the same as you. Only just started happening mind. Mine is a manual 220 2016 but remapped to 300.think its most likely start of clutch slip unfortunately but could maybe be pleasantly surprised if anyone can shed a different light. Like yours happens one off bit of a rev increase then power goes down, and only very occassionally in 5th or 6th when trying to do the likes of an overtake on motorway etc

Sorry should have said manual. Thanks for the replies

Anyone replaced the clutch in a tfsi vrs. Im remapped to 300 and getting occassional slip in 5 or 6th gear at 3000 odd revs eg motorway overtakes. Thinking best to start looking at clutches. Dont think an uprated clutch is needed but was wondering if anyone knew if a cupra clutch would fit given they come from factory at 300

MK7 Golf GTI seats into an Octavia RS?
Bangor_red replied to djstinky's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Theres a thread where someone put a3 seats into a tdi octavia. Going by that logic id say any vag seats would fit. But thats an uneducated guess -
makes the wait to collect the car worse now 🤣

List of VCDS Owners (Previously known as VAG-COM) & VCP Owners
Bangor_red replied to Gizmo's topic in Diagnostics & VCDS
just coming back into the Vag fold after a few years in BMWs, sold my old VCDS cable for buttons about 2 years ago thinking i'd not need it again. looked up prices and see they now have a set number of vins depending which you buy. My old one was unlimited, and regretting the decision to sell. Used to help local owners out with coding too, I take it that no longer happens due to limited vins? -
re hashing an old thread instead of starting a new one, but is there a vrm or vin checker to find out what's on the VRS I have purchased but not yet collected. looked to be extras on it that weren't listed by the garage

Just joined, have purchased a 2016 VRS hatch, picking it up next week. can't wait to get back into a quick petrol after few years in a diesel.
