  1. I Have now fitted the rear brakes to my Skoda Felicia pickup (mk2 Caddy) I used mk3 golf backplates mk 3 golf stub pins or stub axles if you want to call them that also the discs the callipers I would think are from the same but the part that know one told me was that you use the original handbrake cables but they are short and you will need spacers to extend them they are available from a company called Retrofication they specialise in caddy’s and sell the spacers and stub pins both on eBay and on their own site if there is anything else I can help you with please ask good luck it is a simple job if you have these parts o and you will need to make up brackets to support where the original metal pipe meets the flexi pipe I found I could just straiten the original pipe and use it rather than make a new pipe hope this is of some help to you
  2. Thanks for your help 👍I have the callipers and discs but no backplates other than VR6 I have no idea what they would be From do you have any idea as I would like backplates or may have to mod originals, would be grateful if you could give me anymore info thanks again

  4. Not long got my 2000 Felicia pickup it has already had the front brakes converted to ford mondeo and they work well but I was given rear brake callipers along with discs and pins to fit to the rear was told they were from a vr6 not sure exactly what i have not tried to fit them yet don’t think it will be that much of a problem Barr the cables just don’t think the original ones will fit and not sure what to go for is this a common conversion that someone can point me in the right direction before I give it a go 😊👍 p.s I know it don’t really need them but it will look cool 😊 sorry posted in wrong place wanted to put in classic Skoda but don’t know how to move it
  5. Looking for a not 2 expensive diagnostic tool to talk to my 2000 1.6 Felicia pickup I have a vag 505 autel that does code read it but no live data would like something that can give live data and also perform like throttle body reset and some basic functions other than just code read if that’s possible on these older systems any help would be appreciated thanks
