Thanks for replies. It has suddenly started working again. Must have been a glitch. I use Waze or Google Maps when the traffic is really bad. But the Skoda maps have been reasonably good for general use and often sensibly reroute when traffic conditions dictate.

Hi, My maps on Mib3 Skoda Karoq 1.5 have just started not showing traffic information (eg red if traffic jam etc etc). Just checking to see if this might be a temporary problem with Skoda's map servers or whether it is a problem with my infotainment system. Has anyone else in UK noticed a problem since yesterday? I ordered my Edition on 10th Feb and I picked it up last week. The configurator showed the increased VED with all spare wheels. However, my dealer did not have this information from Skoda. So I think the OP's salesman was not being dodgy, just didn't have all the correct information from Skoda.

I recently picked up a new Karoq edition that I ordered in February 2021. The fact that the spare wheel increased the CO2 rating and the tax was apparent at this time and I remember discussing it with the salesman. The configurator showed this as well. Hope this helps.

No the menu has changed from the one that westie had to the one I have now. I know that I can probably get this fixed under warranty but I think it would be good to see if there is a simple solution. It seems very strange that the menu has changed and I suspect that it is something that happened during the service. I tried doing a factory reset on the section for parking and manoeuvring but it didn't fix the problem.

Thanks westie38, this change in the settings has occurred after a service at my local Skoda dealer. I haven't touched the software and the dealer says they didn't change it. It just seems odd that it has changed after this service and it has left the Blind Spot Monitoring system failing to work. "Exit Warning" is a setting that only seems to apply to Audi cars when searching for it on Google. There is also another setting called "Side Assist" that has appeared that also doesn't work and was not there before the service. Can anyone think of any other way that these settings could have changed other than at the Skoda dealer?

Can I be a pain and ask if a Karoq Edition owner could look under the Parking and Manoeuvring Settings and confirm whether or not they have a setting called "Exit Warning System"? I am sure that this wasn't in my settings before I had it serviced and I have a feeling that this might be linked to the reason why my Blind Spot setting is saying "Function Currently Not Available" Many Thanks

The blind spot monitor has failed to operate on my 1.5TSI Karoq Edition 2018. I checked the infotainment and it is ticked as active but states that it is unavailable when I attempt to untick the checkbox. The rear traffic alert has the same issue in the infotainment screen. On further investigation I noticed that a few extra settings seem to have appeared in infotainment settings that I have never seen (or been aware of) before and are not in my online manual. For example, in Driver Assistance Settings there is "side assist" (which also doesn't work) and in Parking and Manoeuvring Settings there is "Exit Warning System" (not working also). The car was recently serviced and I wonder if some incorrect software has been added to my car and caused these problems. It would help if someone could check their car's settings to see if the apparently new settings are correct or not. Thanks
