Thanks Alex, I googled and googled last night and took the sim card out this morning 😕 If you have kids with tablets I guess the car WiFi system has some merits, but you may as well hotspot from your own phone anyway.

Hi all, Out of curiosity I put a data sim card into my new Kodiaq today. It's receiving data just fine - tested by connecting my phone to it. Now I'm wondering what I can do with it. Without Skoda Connect is there any point to having a data sim installed in the car, except for giving ipads etc WiFi internet access? I was going for google earth views in navigation, but it's not going to happen is it?

I've had my brilliant silver Kodiaq now about a month. Build date Oct 2018. Purchased in Sydney as a dealer demonstrator. 132 TSI Virtual cockpit Tech pack Luxury pack Sleep pack Towbar (factory towbar retro fitted by the dealer) Great car. I'm still finding out more and more stuff it can do!

Hi All, This is my first real post here - I picked up my Kodiaq a few weeks ago and love it so far. But the tech is daunting - The Jeep Grand Cherokee I traded was stone age tech compared to the Kodiaq! Everything is working, and I'm trying not to get too deep into the millions of things I don't know yet, but there is this one thing. I've had the same ringtone for years. And I struggle a little to recognise my own phone ringing when it is some weak jingle I don't know, and with Android Auto, I don't get my ring tone, I get the Columbus weak jingle ringtones. It seems that with Android Auto and my Samsung I do not have the option of using the phone ringtone. Has anybody worked out how to upload their own ringtone into the Columbus Telephone - User Profile - Select Ring Tone menu? Cheers! John K
