    Hello guys, I hope you can help me... There is a strange humming noise coming from engine/front of my car. However I was unable to locate where it is exactly coming from. I can hear it from 15 km/h but most clearly at around 80 km/h. Do you have any idea what is is?

  2. 1.4 TSI Strange Engine Noise From Inside Cabin

    I recently bought a manual transmission Skoda Yeti 2011 with 1.4 TSI engine. The engine is making this strange whistle like noise during idle and also when driving in any gear and speed. The noise is more clearly noticeable when pressing gas pedal specially in gears 3 and 5 around 1500 -2300 rpm. I have recorded this video by putting my phone on the gear stick. I tried to identify the cause but so far I couldn't. What is causing this noise? Could it be engine, transmission or turbo? Can you please help me? You can hear the sound in this video that I recorded:
