    What is this?

Sorry, no rear tray tables on my Karoq. I took a ready Ambition from the dealer. I took some more photos of different angles of it, it's really puzzling me. Hope someone can shed some light on this mystery piece... Photos on Imgur.com

    What is this?

Luckily not, is less than 3 months old 🙂 I know, always get such things and even worse when servicing, even for periodic checks/oil, I got even rambles and noises. When getting such things almost always first answer is "It came like that!" and is same service of Seat/Skoda/Audi here... will try to get a few more pics of different angles, I am worried maybe during cleaning the guy hit smth and maybe I get notification months after...

    What is this?

Yes, my Karoq has AdBlue as it's a 1.6 TDI produced end of May 2019 , but still can't find why is closed at the thinner end (where the linear openings/cut-outs are). And the thicker side has a sort of clip which might clip it to a cable or smth...

    What is this?

Hi all, Had the third wash to my Karoq, and at the end found a plastic thing which was found by the washer guy under drivers seat. It is sized smaller than an iPhone X. Any idea what this could be? Hope he didn't break anything by mistake when passing the vacuum cleaner ...
  5. Hello, perhaps anyone knows difference between DDYA vs DGTE engines? They seem both 1.6 TDI, just the latter has CR letters, I have no idea what it means and was just out of curiosity. My Karoq produced in 25 May 2019 has DGTE engine code... Thanks
  6. Indeed, have seen before and I am not ready to risk it yet, got almost 4 years full within warranty. Will get installed only the rear view camera from official Skoda dealers either in Bulgaria or N. Macedonia, they both guarantee that camera retrofit won't affect the warranty as it's being made in official Skoda services and using genuine parts. They also quoted me ~320 EUR completed installation (parts + man work + taxes), both at same prices even if different countries... What's wird is that the official Skoda service/dealer in Albania where I bought my Karoq was initially very reluctant about this retrofit, and after my mutiple queries, they quoted me 1000+ EUR which is outrageous! Seems that for me is better a 400 or 600Km drive to have reasonable pricing on camera retrofit. Perhaps I should do also routine servicing there once a year... Does any of you have experience with warranty when servicing indifferent countries from where you originally bought your car? Thanks
  7. What part number did you choose for both front and rear? The one with A or without A at the end?
  8. Which part nr did you use? The one with or without A at the end?
  9. Did you have the chance to test if it works?
  10. Hi all, Is it possible maybe to activate Rear Traffic Assist with OBDeleven? My Karoq Ambition 1.6 TDI DSG MY19 has rear sensors for parking and the assistants button on steering wheel (above VIEW button) but when I press it, shows "No assistants available" So wanted to have maybe a use for this button which came ready with the car sitting at dealer 🙂 I thought maybe having the rear sensors should work for rear traffic alert, or am I too optimistic and it needs any retrofit? Have no radar at front grille, no camera behind the mirror, no camera attached to windshield. So no assistants at all, just a self dimming mirror and automatic lights. Am I out of hope or can any assistant be activated? Thanks
  11. Hi all, I'm looking to retrofit a Virtual cockpit (part nr 565 920 790 A) and Rear View Camera (part nr 57B054634 or 57A827566) to my Karoq 1.6 TDI DSG MY19 with Bolero infotainment, as I've seen many successful retrofits in the forum, but here Skoda dealer won't do this retrofit. Unfortunately I took a car already in the dealer, so couldn't do a custom order. Can anyone help me with some guide on steps you took for steps to swap the old dials with the new VC & camera and coding steps what to use (e.g. using ODIS-E for initial programming and fine tuning with OBDeleven). Maybe suggestions on what to unmount first, how to remove pieces and what to look for. I've noticed for example that I must set correctly tires circumference with ODIS to avoid troubles with gears errors, or not forgetting to connect the fiber optic cable to infotainment etc... The car has 4 years warranty and thought maybe not to do a lot of troubles with it to risk all the warranty :-) Thanks in advance
  12. How can the yellow boxes be activated and retrofitted on Karoq? Does it depend on camera and/or infotainment (what if Bolero) ? Thanks
  13. Hi all, I'm looking to retrofit a rear view self-dimming mirror to my Karoq 1.6 TDI Ambition, and found these online but noticed the camera at the back of mirror like below: Any idea why is the camera used? Can it be easily connected/coded to Ambition with Bolero infotainment? Will it need any complex calibration? Because I'm not looking for any traffic signs recognition, but a lane assistant camera would be nice to have. I have seen the mirror with a big box for the traffic signs recognition: but never encountered the one with a camera in the holder... Thanks
  14. Did you manage to find part nr and part price? I'm also looking to retrofit one to my Karoq 2019 1.6 TDI DSG
