  1. Adding Columbus makes me add an extra cost for the bluetooth phone as well (no idea why), so it pushes the cost over the top. I'll go for virtual cockpit, it looks nice in sportline look.
  2. Nevermind, I found out on the forum this is the "sportline" look as well.
  3. your virtual cockpit has the same look as the RS version. Is this the look for virtual cockpit on sportline version or did you have it modified?
  4. With the sleep pack there is this headrest thing extra on the seets and 2 napkins + some extra comfort carpet. I can only get one, before I exceed my allowed budget (Company car).
  5. Ok, and with Columbus I also get a DVD drive right (when not driving)? Or did they remove that feature?
  6. So Virtual cockpit or Columbus it seems. I do plan to use apple carplay a lot. Though choice!
  7. I go for Sportline, where I live there is no L&K version of Sportline. And I prefer the looks, interior and exterior of sportline, so I rather prefer to stick to that version.
  8. All those are already included, it's really one of those 5 mentioned I could add extra.
  9. Hello, I've got room for one last option/option combo on my (almost full option) Sportline Kodiaq spec, which one of those 5 would you guys advise me to take and why: 1) Sleep pack II instead of only Sunset/accoustic windows + Virtual Pedal 2) Virtual cockpit instead of normal analog display 3) Columbus upgrade instead of Amundsen infotainment 4) Wifi, phonebox & wireless charging + Virtual Pedal 5) Heated front window + Virtual Pedal (it's not extremely cold where I live, I'm from Brussels not Groenland) I can't make my mind up, the sleep pack seems fun for the kids, but so does the DVD on Columbus when we have to wait somewhere.
  10. D Did you apply those Llumar films yourself, or did you get it done by a professional? Do they look good from the inside as well? (no bubbles etc) And is it easy to remove? Since it's a company car I will have to remove the film in 4 years when I return the car. But I agree, sleep pack/sunshade isn't shaded enough to my taste either.
  11. Interesting point, I drove (for a tesdrive) a Kodiaq with sunroof and it looked nice open, but I also drove with the roof closed to test noise, rattling and sun effect. It wasn't noisy at all, but the shade screen seemed a bit light yes. I didn't pay attention to it as it didn't bother me, but I wonder if it would become a problem when the sun is shining really hard. BTW amundsen changes colours with ambient lightning. The car I drove today had the Amundsen screen.
  12. Isn't the sleep pack sunset + accoustic windows (+ carpets + moving headrest and cloth). So it shouldn't be darker than just sunset windows. I was told it's about 30% shading.
  13. Wow, so then it's better not to take the virtual cockpit then if you only have amundsen? I mean you loose on one extra (and nice) feature.
  14. By the way, does anyone know if the Amundsen changes colour when you change ambient lightning? I know Columbus is switching colors to match the mood of your ambient lightning, as well as the virtual cockpit. But I couldn't find a video or a thread regarding to the Amundsen/Bolero and his behaviour towards ambient lightning.
  15. I think I will pass on the Columbus, most info I got has convinced me not to take it anyway, I just would be paying extra for a bigger screen. Google maps on my phone is free for all the duration of me driving the car.
  16. Should I go for virtual cockpit on my Kodiaq or rather upgrade amundsen to Columbus? Taking in mind I will probably not use DVD often. But I do plan to use googlemaps a lot.
  17. And just to be clear I'm speaking about noticeable noise with sunroof fully closed. I know that when the sunroof is opened, there will be more noise!
  18. Once I have acces, I will be very happy to read them. Many thanks! I'm looking for info to change the led stripes for feet ambient lightning ( I want red instead of white).
  19. Hello I, I'm hesitating to spec my Kodiaq as such: Panoramic sunroof (not an inconditionnal fan, but I think the kids will love it, so it's now or never) + Accoustic/Sunset windows + Extra added Privacy Glass (darkened to 95%) My problem is I will have double usage of the sunset and extra privacy glass, so I'm paying double to have darkened glasses. But the sunshade from sunset glasses is not enough so I want to pay the extra cost. So the only reason I take sunset is because of accoustic glasses. I think you notice the difference between a Kodiaq without and one with accoustic/sunset glasses while driving, or am I wrong? My last problem is with the sunroof, I will probably have added outside noise due to the sunroof, so is it still worth it to pay the extra cost for accoustic/sunset only for the accoustic part? (Remember I will add separately extra privacy glass so I'm only really taking it for the accoustic isolation effect). So I wanted to receive some feedback from people who have owned one of those specs or them together (sunroof & sunset/accoustic glasses). Is it worth it to take sunroof and accoustic glasses or is the effect of the accoustic isolation lost anyway with the panoramic sunroof? Because otherwise I can save that money and choose Columbus system over Amundsen. (Extra question is it worth it, knowing I will probably only use google maps or waze on my mobile phone? cheers!
