Few days ago the signal lost. When i put reverse gear only black screen appears. I've checked all the connection but everything looks fine. I've pulled off the power cable and plug it again....the signal appeared again. When the ignition is off and on again the signal is gone again. I don't know what is going on.

It's only the blue one that you have to unclip and clips the two wires to the original blue. No need to cut them. Of course i will upload photos when i find time to take the unit out and take some photos. I think that it is universal. I'm not sure.

I don't have rear wiper so i had to use the connector that the camera has. Otherwise i was ready to follow your way.

Your platform is the same with nine. So i believe that you can take the risk. But, i suggest that you must have the vcds ready to make the coding check.

The connection was very easy. The seller had already done all the job. You only have to remove the cable from the blue rvc connector and put it into the car's same blue connector. The other connector is just an adapter that you have to connect. And then you must give power to rvc by connecting the fuse to the fuse box. I used the original cameras position. The coding was already done by itself!!! One day i must pass the cable through the seats and install the camera. Now i have the cable wrapped in the passengers box. When i finish the job i will upload photos.

When i was ready to do the coding with vcds, i saw that the coding was already done. I didn't do anything at all. Now i have to install the camera and pass the cable for the connection. I must mention that my Octavia is MY2018 facelift.

You are talking about prefacelift vRS. I'm talking about facelift model. The prefacelift fog lights doesn't fit on the facelift bumper. So I must find a way to turn on the led fog lights.

I want to retrofit front bumper from vRS model and i don't know how to connect the led fog lights. I can't find anywhere the wiring diagram. Mine fog lights are using H8 bulbs. Does anyone tried to retrofit front bumper from vRS model to non vRS model?

My Octavia is the sedan version. So the part numbers is not the same with Combi. Yes, working perfect also. The only normal bulbs, as I can remember, are the reverse bulb and the turn bulb. I ordered the connectors from Audi dealer because was cheaper than Skoda dealer. It costs me about 25€, but from eBay is more cheaper.

I have Octavia iii facelift sedan. I've already installed those tail lights and working perfectly without any coding. I only bought the connectors and create an adapter.
