  1. In my experience the Avon's actually have been really good feel wise etc from the previous set I had on. And for the money they are definitely better than the budget end being a better quality but still kind of budget price range.
  2. I honestly think the motorway use with bad tracking sounds like what's happened here. Thanks all for all the thoughts. Definitely getting the new set tracked glad they aren't super expensive tires but still annoying after only a few weeks. The picture is bad but you can see a lot of the metal on both of them. Actually a slow puncture on one as what made me check which is scary because there weeks on new tires me thinking they were fine is scary when they look like that coming off. Glad to not have a blowout on the motorway
  3. I had some zz5 on previously. Were about 40-60% used when I got it and done around 5000 miles on them before they needed changing my expectations are around 12000 miles would be good for me on fronts. I didn't set the pressures but did check them personally.
  4. Not particularly that I remember but most bumps feel quite hard in the fabia so I tend to go slow anyway but I'm quite careful with kerbs
  5. So I was running the specced pressures for a low loaded car. Think it's 240.f 230 back kpa. Sorry don't know psi kpa is on the fuel flap and here is the ratings of the tyres
  6. Hi just had new tyres about three weeks ago and have been doing some one off work requiring 250 mile round trips roughly done about 3000 miles in 3 weeks. Tyres as per picture are pretty bad with belt even belt showing on one side. Wear looks uneven but all of the tyre is fully worn if not more so. Just wondering if anyone had the same and it was the tracking or something else entirely. I've no idea if the steering independent front Braking affects this scrubbing tyres or if there is something else that can be done. Cheers tyres are Avon zv7 I think so nothing special but should have lasted about 5 times as long to my calculations. Mostly motorway driving.
  7. nothing too special just a cheap rubber lip attatched to the bottom, still plenty of clearance, there are some proper, composite or fake carbon ones that look a lot nicer but didn't want to spend a lot and to be honest personally i think it works subtle enough not to look garish but adds to the black grill and pillars/mirrors that are standard with the car.
  8. sounds daft but do the stowage draws generally fit quite easily and presuming they fit the vrs left passenger seat fine?
  9. Sorry to be a pain just wondering if you had any eBay or superskoda links to the cruise control or underseat.storage to fit passenger side MK2 vrs 2012. Couple of mods I'm thinking of doing. The ones I've done are nearly all non mechanical. Cheaper but tasteful black front lip to match the grill, pop down sunglasses holder, automatic lights, whiter halogen bulbs, obd head up display. Mostly for driver comfort but I'm all happy with it so far
