Fabia MK3 fitted car mats perfect for a Monte Carlo
Hi, I recently ordered a set if fitted mats for my daughters Monte Carlo from CarMats.co.uk, it wasn’t until I doubled checked the invoice and realised that some how I’d managed to order them for the Mk3 instead of the Mk2 that she owns 🤦♂️. Unfortunately I can’t return them as they are personalised, which is totally understandable. As she has a Monte Carlo I ordered the set of mats with the name Monte on them which is how he’s affectionately known. So I have them up for sale. They’re the £50 set if you see them on their website. I’m looking for £30 + post if anyone is interested

Both window switches not working
Sorry to jump onto this thread. I’ve got the same issue with my daughters Monte Carlo. I have however got the passenger side working by repairing the broken wires in the door hinge loom. But I’ve had no luck with the drivers door, I’m guessing it’s the motor. Anychance I can send you the VIN Breezy_Pete? Can they be repaired or just replaced with new?

1.2 TSI CBZB misfiring between 1600-1800 rpm
Thanks for the advice Alasdair. I’ve ordered a set of the NGK plugs so hopefully get them swapped over this weekend. I know what you mean about getting the plugs leads off, as I was replacing them I just pulled them off but it looks a right arse of a job now that I need to take care. I’ve seen the use of a zip tie so I’ll give that a go. It was a nightmare just getting the new leads seated on the plugs…. Took it out for a spin this evening and there was only one small misfire so hopefully the new plugs will cure that 🤞

1.2 TSI CBZB misfiring between 1600-1800 rpm
My daughters Monte Carlo 1.2tsi CBZB has developed a misfire/hesitation underload between 1600-1800 rpm. I would say it's normally in 3rd and 4th, but once past that rpm it flies with no other misfires or hesitation. No warning lights have appeared on the dash. The previous owner has changed the coil pack, and today I replaced the plug leads. Before replacing the leads I plugged in code reader and it showed up that cyl 3 and cyl 4 had been logged. After replacing the leads I took it for a spin and the misfire was still there, plugged in code reader and it only showed up that a cyl 3 had a misfire. As I haven't replaced the plugs and am not sure when they were last changed that's the next job. I'm hoping someone would be able to shed some light on the issue, if the plugs don't sure the problem what else could be the cause? I've read about the turbo actuators playing up but I'm not sure that would be the cause Also which brans spark plugs would you guys suggest fitting? And if you could supply part numbers that would be awesome
