  1. Thanks Langers, had a look through the too Google links, curious if anyone has had experience with this before and their solutions
  2. Evening all, Been having all sorts of codes... Octavia MK2 1.6fsi 2008 Currently I have "Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low." does anyone have any experience with this error? We've checked the connector to the sensor - all seems well, likewise with the sensor itself... any ideas? cheers
  3. I completely agree, majority of other pages suggest the latter two. I have just ordered a knock sensor - worth a punt! Cheers
  4. Thanks for the link, however been through all the pages linked to the p0322 looking for any experience or advice on where to go from where I'm at. Anyone got any idea what voltage should be coming into a cam or crank sensor? Currently getting 4.8
  5. Afternoon team, At my wits end. I have a MK2 1.6 fsi 2008. I keep getting code p0332 - Ignition Distributor Engine speed Input circuit no signal. I've replaced the cam sensor and crank sensor though I'm not certain the latter is in correctly. I've checked wiring and connectors all looks good, and voltage etc is good. New battery also. I've had a refurbed ECM installed so happy that's all working. The engine is cranking but spark plugs are not firing - new spark plugs and coils are all good. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
  6. Evening gents, went to Germany on the bike for a bit of a holiday and forgot all about it. Gave it another go today, again managed to start but only runs for 30 seconds or so then cuts out. The code is still there. Attached is my fuse box, nothing of notice wrong ? Cheers Alex
  7. Ah yes. I've fairly happy the ecu is getting power. After playing around with the relays under the dash I've got it started but only intermittently. I need to find out what those relays are and test connection between the ecu and its wires somehow...
  8. What relay is that, and where is it located? Unfortunately I don't have a diagram. It's not the key i've tried both and get the same result. It's odd, I can get the car started now and then, however it is now running for around 30seconds and then just cuts out...
  9. I agree, however it cuts out. In carista the same error is appearing as usual
  10. Afternoon team, An update on what I've done and the results. I got to the ECM and disconnected it. Cleaned the connectors and reattached - same codes appear after clearing. - I was not able to get into the ECM case - its comepletly glued shut and appears like nothing can get in/out. I got under my dash into the other relay's. I tested them all - the same way I tested my 100 relay in my engine compartment fuse box. The only difference is when testing with a 12v battery, some of the relays seem to switch on and off a lot. I swapped some around and tried clearing the codes - they reappear. However I have somehow managed to start the car a number of times now, however the engine cuts out after 15odd seconds of running... Any ideas? Thanks
  11. Hi Nige, already checked that relay and switch and resistance working as expected. I think it could be a relay for the ECM but don't have a clue where that is or what number it is
  12. Understood. Finding a diagram for relay locations and what they are for is fruitless. Afraid not as the engine hasn't been removed. The engine started the night before, however the next day this code appeared...
  13. Good evening Langers, Thank you for the reply. The ECU has not been out yet - that is my next attempt. Take it out, give it a clean and return. Thoughts that this is a relay problem as a lot of videos/posts of other vehicles detail this?
  14. Good evening team, I'm reaching the end of my patience with trying to work out the issues with my 1.6 FSI MK2 Octavia 2008 I recently had the engine cut out on me with a camshaft/crankshaft sensor issue, however this appears resolves and now I am greeted with this 01314 ECM code. Basically the car will crank but will not start. I've got this code in every category on my scanner and it keeps coming back after clearing. I've charged/changed battery - no luck. Checked fuses - no luck. I've checked the 100 relay in the engine bay - no luck, all working as expected. I'm next thinking checking the other relays but I can not find any diagram of relay locations or what each relay is for. Is anyone able to help? Below is my vehicle scan results as of tonight...
