Thank you. My car has everything in the manual you sent just not the sensor bit. If I move stalk up one then I can use the 3 speed switch. I will try to spray some contact cleaner In there and see. Do you no much about the rear wiper problem and wether it could be related or a wiring problem somewhere?

So I played around with it, and still the same problem. I'm not sure I have auto wipers. Doesn't look like there's any sensors.

I will try it out later and see what happens, Im sure I don't have them but could be wrong. Hows the best way to test it as if I push stalk up wipers come on just like normal

Hello I have the wiper problem with my skoda Octavia vrs mk2 2006 and wanted some advice as to weather it could be narrowed down to a certain part. The back windcreen wiper is intermittent until the car gets hot. I have replaced the motor about 3yrs ago but didn't help back then and just left it but its time to sort it. The other thing is the timed wiper speeds on front wipers choose when the want to work. So I was wondering if it could be the stick as there both on the same one or could it be down to wiring? Thanks
