So Hello everyone, just need a quick update, I would like to know if anyone can help me on how to take the fuse box out in a '93 Favorit. As I can to check for rust and corrosion, I have been having issues with lighting AND the dashboard. I suspect the Fuse box and some faulty connection. Hi, Could you explain on how you did it ? In my experience (Favorit '93) there is a "delay" between the thermostat and Fan. On my car the gauge show a little higher and goes up then the fan work. But between the gauge showing HIGH tmeparaature and fan working there is a delay of 3 to 5 minute. I suppose it is normal because the thermostat need to "build up heat" in order to open right ? Anyone experience about this ?

Nice Post ! Just a quick question to FeliciaHacker : I see that you are using LPG. I am curious about your average consumption. For me (1993 Favorit LX 1,3 Carb) I am at 10L/100km on daily use (this mean 20 km morning and 20 km in the veneing on mostly higway (70% highway 30% traffic) with an average speed of 100 on highway. When on long distance I calculated an average of 7.5-8 L/100km. (these are my most recent stats 1 month ago)

Yes I agree, but this is a nearly 45 degree angle, and this seems to much for me. I will adjust the valve setting this week (I think it need adjustement because I lost a little bit of power and I have been hearing valve noises- typical click noise at idle). After Adjusting It I will check If I can move the distributor in Original way (toward car and not left wheel), and keep you guys updated.

Nice topic. Just two thing 1- i also had a similar problem once, not during no matter what i did. Turns out that there was a problem with a switch (my car has been fitted with LPG aftermarket). 2- my distributor is also in the same direction right now facing the left wheel. i will try to change it and put it in the original way like RicardoM told (facing the car) when ı will readjust the valves.

Hi everyone. I had a horn problem : when using left turn signal the horn was engaging. More than annoying it started to smoke after some time. So ı decided to check the problem today. I also wanted to put a quick diy on how to disassemble the signal switch. The problem was basically that a smal piece of copper bent with time after makina it straight the problem was gone. On how to disassemble it : take down the screw under the stering wheel and take the bottom cover off. Then disconnect the bottom connector. Then take the flathead screw on the left or right depending on the switch. Finally take out gently the switch and disconnect the last top connector. If you need to disassemble more the switch take it out again. And you are good to go.
