    Bulb set

Does anyone know if there is a dedicated spare bulb set available for the Karoq?I have a 2019 Karoq SEL and am driving on the continent soon.I have the facility to move my headlights from 'Driving on left'to 'Driving on right'so dont need deflectors but a spare kit would be handy.
  9. Hi Unfortunately I dont have any info on the particular brand/part no,I do know that Skoda dealers are aware of the issue though.I was told at the dealer that it was a pot luck kind of issue as to which pads were fitted, and pleased to say my issue was solved with new/different pads.Point to note is that only the rear pads are affected.
  10. Hi No I had them replaced at RRG Bolton, this where I purchased my vehicle from.
  11. Brilliant!Thanks John,You never know what you don't know eh 🤣
  12. Ok I give up can someone put me out of my misery, looked at p.290 and searched to no avail.Whats the problem with the mirrors,Im guessing passenger mirror alters with the drivers side?🤣
  13. Cheers Scot, I have been driving BMW and a VW cc for last 20 years and never came accros this, hence my op,as you say probably an aero thing originally, marginal gains etc.Seems a bit ott for a SUV but hey 😁
  14. Sorry to be late to what looks like has been an interesting topic 😁To be honest I dont know anything about a mirror issue, have to say mine have been trouble free.,up to now anyway !
  15. Cheers for that Kenny, was just surprised when I came to lift them.21st century problem I know, but a bit of a faff when you washing the car 😁
  16. This is more of a 'why on earth would the do that? moan than anything else, but why on earth would Skoda design wipers where you just can't just pull the wiper arms up when cleaning the car?I thought it was me at first but no,there is no way to do it.I am now presuming that to change the blades, you need to stop the wipers in mid cycle in order to pull them up.
  17. I had my rear pads replaced under warranty.it is a known issue due to a particular brand of brake pad fitted.
  18. Yes I thought that to,would make sense.
  19. Your right Simon,Ive just had chance to check the range and its showing 7000 miles.
  20. Update on my earlier question regarding the reset, after a short drive my adblue warning has stopped coming on.Does anyone know how long a full tank of adblue normally lasts?
  21. Jim.Did you have any joy with the adblue reset?Ive just done mine and having the same problem.I have had ignition on without the engine starting for 30 seconds but the 'add adblue'is still coming on.
  22. As promised, pics of my Moon White Karoq with shiny new mudflaps.
  23. Hope this helps anyone who is this thinking of fitting mudflaps, much of the info is already here and is extremely helpful.I have just fitted front and rear, without removing the wheels, turning the front wheels leaves plenty of room.Regarding drilling the holes for the locking rivet it is easily done by hand,if needed grip the drill bit with a pair of pliers or similar, the wheel liner is soft plastic and a sharp drill will try and go straight through,so do it in stages ie turn the bit clockwise to drill then anti clockwise to release plastic. Before fittting the rivets, spray with wd 40 or similar ,this will make pushing the locking pin in easier.I found no need to drill bigger than 6mm.The rear rivet locking pin is trickier than the front one ,I used a piece of wood and a small hammer to knock it in.The rear flaps require no drilling but the instructions are misleading, there are only two screws fitted to the liner and one vacant hole, this accepts the rivet. Its quite tricky to fit the rivet, unless you remove the wheel, purely because of the distance in the arch. However I used a piece of wood to 'lever'the locking pin in using the wheel as the pivot. The bottom locking fixing literally just pushes into a pre drilled hole underneath the car.I will post pics once the weather clears up and get a chance to clean my car, they do look smart and discreet.
  24. Fair point Silver,Skoda describe the £179 service as an oil service and the £229 service as an oil and inspection service.I took the view that to enable my warranty to be valid for the full 3 years,it was easier to take up a service plan, enabling the two services to be done for 342.I appreciate under EU legislation I can take it anywhere as long as I can prove the garage use genuine parts and recommended lubricants, but how much would you save?Im paying £171 each service,I appreciate this more expensive than an unofficial skoda specialist or VAG specialist who have quoted me between £120 and £170 locally. The interest free option is an added bonus as is the courtesy car option.
