  1. @nicka62... Yes, VW maps are more recent. For example, here in France, it take in account the 80 km/h limitations for two-bands road whereas the Skoda update did not. That's why you pay a Tiguan 7500 pounds more than a Karoq....
  2. You can download the version 1430 from VW map update portal: https://webspecial.volkswagen.de/vwinfotainment/int/en/index/downloads/maps-download#/
  3. I confirm that Amudsen requires the genuine SD card. I tried high quality 32Gb SD card and it did not work. However, it is very easy to download the files from the portal and replace them on the genuine 16 Gb card. As Kenny suggested, it is also possible to get them from VW portal, they are even more recent and work very well. Nowadays, it is still possible to load all the European countries on the 16 Gb card but I suspect that in the future, you will to choose the group of countries you want since the database is ever growing.
  4. This function is available with DSG. I use it everyday, set in the individual mode. Over my peri-urban daily traffic, it can go down to 56 mpg with my TDI 150 depending on traffic and temperature. https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-explains/what-is-a-coasting-function-ph-explains/39081
  5. The interest of the eco mode is coasting. Used correctly, it is very impressive. Simply turn off the cruise control and do not touch the throttle if not necessary. The engine produces no braking effect and you consume nothing over very long distances.
  6. You can find this on Wikihow: Automatic windows make it easy to raise and lower your window, but they can easily be thrown off or reset when you replace your vehicle’s battery. The automatic window function relies on a sensor and electrical components to interpret when a window is open or closed, so replacing your car’s electrical power source can mess with these settings. To reset the memory settings for your window, press the button for each window down and hold it for 2-5 seconds. Then, raise the same window and hold the button for 2-5 seconds. If this doesn’t work, you may need to lubricate your windows with silicone spray, replace the fuse for the windows, or clean out the reel inside your door panel.
  7. That's what I did also when I had the problem with my Touran, but the problem here seems more serious.
  8. Very strange! This problem is well known in VW group since many years. I had it on a Touran and it was resolved by the trick I explained above. Very easy.
  9. Try to to reset the auto mode by holding up the button for 3 seconds when the window is closed.
