  1. To drive the car is wonderful, the Skoda Connect service is frustrating though as I spend weeks at a time unable to access. I first found this website looking for solutions, and what I've picked up is: * it seems a number of people have issues with this since around 2017 * deleting various profiles and re-registering the car works sometimes but no always * having tried to follow some of the suggested solutions here I reach a point where either the suggested menu option is absent on my system or the solution step is too technical for me to follow. My local garage is an hour's drive away so taking the car there is a half a day commitment, then they make changes that solve the problem but not permanently and leave me no wiser. What I am wondering then is if Skoda might have a chat system where an expert might talk me through setting it up, whilst I juggle mobile and tablet to make the necessary connections. The alternative for me is simply to not renew the subscription (as others have), and that isn't in the interests of the people running the Skoda Connect service.
