I wonder wether the radio code is stored on the radio chip or the gauge cluster, I mean if the radio is disconnected and reconnected again to the same car will it ask for the code. Octavia mk1 2004. Ms303 radio Thanks in advance.

I have a 2004 skoda octavia mk1 l.6 and I had oil mixing with coolant problem it was the transmission oil cooler so I changed it and the engine oil cooler as well. By the way the engine does not over heat and there is no signs of bad head gaskit. Now when the car is cold in the morning I see a thin film of oil in the coolant resevoir. I flushed without adding any flushing fluid, only keeping the engine running, open the bottom drain plug and keeping the hot water drain . I did it multiple times but this film keeps coming back. Could the coolant system still be contaminated with transmission oil. Should I flush it more with a flushing fluid . Also does the transmission and oil coolers fail immediately or leak at a slow rate.

I'm the first owner and i have the car for 15 years now but this is the first time replacing the maf and it HITACHI as i searched it is aftermarket and the original one is BOSCH is that right? And if I get a BOSCH maf will the ECU accept it and work fine.

My engine code is AEH It's a 1.6L SR 102 hp 75kw. I want ta ask about the number 449/03 what does it refer to. is it important? And what code of those three should I focus on when I purchase a new maf sensor.

Does the code on the new mass air flow sensor must be identical to the original (old) one. As I'm searching for a maf sensor of code HTC AFH60-10C I 4 49/03 And the one I bought was HTC AFH60-10C I 4 50/01 But it didn't work correctly. The fuel consumbtion is currently 20L/100 km and the RPM is hesitating on idel it reaches 2500 and goes up and down. Could it be a faulty throttle body? By the way the throttle body was cleaned and coded and the maf sensor was also cleaned
