Hi All, Has anyone had an issue with their Kodiak 4wd 'angle' box? Apparently my husband has a leak from his and garage say whole unit needs replacing. It was purchased as an Approved Skoda 2-3years and has only done 40k miles. Is the garage being genuine with need to replace at ££££ cost??

HI All, Usually I am here asking questions, but this time I just wanted to share some information. Although it is not perfect Argos have a large dog crate that fits (almost perfectly) into the back of my Yeti Drive/Outdoor. I say almost as I have had to move the rear seats forward a little, but there is still enough room for passengers, and it isn't the usually car-crate shape but it does have 2 doors in case of accident you can then use the other door. The crate does fill the whole of the boot but at least gives a cheap (<£50) version of a crate for those wanting to keep their dog safe, but also give the most available room. I have put a small pad on the upper corners that could rub against the glass though it doesn't seem to actually be needed. https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8705455 Hopefully this will be useful to someone.

Hi All, Having just purchased a second hand Yeti with upholstered seats can anyone recommend any Scotchguard type products to protect the seats from stains/spills etc?

Good evening, Did you find your Yeti ? Due to the change of registration in the last month, lots of Skoda Retailers seem to have an increased number of trade-in Yeti's. I was at Mitchell Skoda in Ellesmere Port last week, and they had 9 to choose from. I am not sure where you are based, but having dealt with my local Skoda Retailers and been let down, I travelled to Mitchells as I purchased my original Skoda from them. Their customer service far exceeded my local garage. I dealt with Harry.

Thank you for your speedy reply. I know they guarantee the paintwork and upholstery for the duration that I own the car, but I was not sure if it was something I could do myself or even necessary. How can you tell if it has been done previously?

Hi All, I have finally found a Yeti at a Skoda Retailer and it has been suggested that I have the paint and upholstery protection added..... does anyone have any positives/negatives regarding this? The Yeti is a 2017 with fabric upholstery rather than leather. The £350.00 price tag for the additional paint and upholstery protection is a bit scary but if worth it I will go ahead. I just have a couple of days to make the decision. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Thanks everyone for clarifying this...I had been advised by a Skoda Dealer regarding the spare wheel. It is great to have this forum and the shared Knowledge.

Hi, My understanding is that the Yeti Outdoor comes with the tyre inflation kit, and the other Yeti's come with the spare wheel. I am not sure if that helps

Hi Urrell, I would definitely have been the proud owner of a Yeti had we not had problems with the purchase yesterday.. so fingers crossed it will happen.

HI Ken, Thank you for the information. I am still hoping I can pick up the complete kit. The Yeti I am buying has the spare wheel, but I want the option of more boot space when needed if I have the other kit too. I have Yeti envy.. you have the model that I wanted, but due to finances I have had to opt for an older model, with less gadgets, but I am sure it will be fantastic.

Good Morning, I have a 15yr old Fabia but back injuries are causing me to change my vehicle :o(. I am new to Yeti's so please excuse my ignorance if this seems like a basic question. I am purchasing a used 65 Reg Yeti with Amundsen sat nav system + DAB, having had a quick look online I am confused as to if this should have the SatNav installed , or if it is just the capability for it to be installed. Also should there be a CD player in the glovebox as the manual I have seen online has one included. Thank you
