Hi all, this is my project car, it was an ex-taxi (Comfort model) with 385k kms when I bought it in August 2019. It had a full cream interior with heated leather seats. Later I found an Edition 100 model and took the full black interior with heated, electric and memory leather seats and as many extras as I could from it. I realised that it wasn't as easy as I thought to wire the electric seats but luckily I found another Superb (Elegance model) for €400 for the some more extras and the electric and memory seat wiring, managed to wire that with my brother in law who specialises in electronics. I took inspiration from Rolls Royce with the starlights, it took me a weeks work to add them to the headliner but worth every second, I also sprayed all the cream trim black to match everything else, a lot of work has been put in this car to get it to this point and I'm just getting warmed up 😉 As I'm writing this the car has 409k kms and still going strong, I have plans to take the engine out of the Elegance Superb I bought and rebuild it using performance parts, bigger injectors, bigger turbo, etc, and get it up to 300hp. Eventually I want to buy a new set of wheels in bronze, respray or wrap the car, get air suspension and I'm sure I'll want to do more down the line. What are your opinions on this and any recommendations or suggestions or more than welcome? Thanks!
