  1. Mine might be a little different then as I will do an hour drive, stop then it fires up and cuts out. Would not have thought it would be battery if it's been running for an hour and it starts when cold every single time
  2. Mine sometimes fires then cuts straight out when warm, not all the time, only fault saying is the starter enable one but it starts then cuts out ?
  3. Did you have any luck, mine doing the same
  4. Can anyone shed some light on what may be the problem. 2014 octavia 2.0tdi DSG parked to get fuel, got back into car, turned key and it quickly attempted to start then cut straight out, did this 3 times. Took key out tried again and it started. Its now done this on 3 occasions but only the last time I took key out. Scanned with VCDS and the only thing which looks strange is Auto Transmission 1 fault intermittent. Starter enable from selector lever sensor system. P1734. not confirmed. Any help appreciated
  5. Sometimes on my 2.0tdi octavia the car will start and immediately cut out (as if it's an immobiliser issue) it usually does it when warm, never cold. Vcds came up with something along the lines of starter enable missing or something like that. Any help appreciated
  6. I have a fl octavia and want to out the auto lights on it. I heard the car must have rain sensors which it does so do I just get a switch ? Would I need to activate anything in vcds? There are posts which say it works and some say not so all help would. E good before I get one
  7. When my 1.6tdi starts from cold there is a noise which comes from the engine or pulley/belt like a rubbing noise every second until its revved slightly. I think it's the belt but not sure. This goes after about 2 minutes and would like to know if it's easy enough to change the belts on this engine ?
