Hi there, I recently bought a 2015 Superb 3V as a replacement for my W212 E-Class. I love the car so far but it seems to have an annoying problem that makes it unusable for me when driving at night. The car is equipped with self-dimming mirrors, both the inside mirror and the wing mirrors dim automatically. They problem is, they don't seem to be sensitive and effective enough at night (cars far away from me coming from behind seem to have no effect on making the mirrors dim, which means that cars from far away at night already upset my eyes), and when they are behind me, although the mirrors do dim, it's not enough and still causes some pain on my eyes. On short drives it's not a problem, but driving over 25min becomes difficult. I also have a 2017 Octavia which has the same system (and apparently the exact same internal mirror in fact) and I never noticed that problem, so this issue seems definitely particular to my Superb. The system is working to some degree because if I shine a flashlight on the central mirror's light sensor it does get dimmer, but when driving at night although it dims, cars behind me still upset my eyes. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? The car's windshield was replaced last year (it has a heated windshield), so I guess this kind of replacement could affect the rain sensor, but not the self dimming mirrors? Thanks
