It would be nice to know what the box actually changes when you choose a different map, then at least we could all have a better understanding of what each setting does.

I've had the same tuning box for a month or so now, tried almost every setting and found 3+3 works well in sport for me loads smiles. Trying to find a good setting for dynamic and eco now Also its really easy to fit, unless one of your clips is upside down as mine was. (fuel pressure I think).

Mine was definitely louder when cold and very quiet when warm, I would question him on the letter I attached earlier in the post as it is in fact a known issue. Why else would skoda send its dealers a letter about it...? Good luck and if you have the belt done, might be worth having the water pump changed at the same time.

It will be the timing belt, once they changed mine the noise went away completely.

There is a a skoda letter concerning it. Had my belts changed under used car warranty I bought with the car. Hope the pictures are readable.

So long story short, brake fluid changed Friday, no brakes or fluid today 10 miles driven!!! Main dealer carried out the work, fluid cap on OK, no apparent leak on any wheels. Any ideas? Oh and it's going back to the dealer tomorrow.
