What engine mounts did you use for this, a friend has a Felicia we were trying to fit a 1z but the engine seems 2 far forward alternator hits the rad and it still needs to go another 1-2" to get the dog bone mount on, original Felicia gearbox used also and currently the original engine mounts both on block and engine to body

Recently got asked to help a mate look at his Felicia pickup which he has a z engine for, I suggested a Landover 200 pump, as he was missing 1/2 the stuff required from the MK3 golf it came out of, the question I have is what mounts do you use? We have used his original gearbox I know it'll be be really short geared! And we used the original engine mounts from the Felicia but when fitting the engine with the alternator the engine is too far forward and hits the radiator and we are unable to get the the lower dog bone mount on! Is there a a different mount that's required for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards 1z engine not z as in original post
