Just read the code off. The EGR was replaced about 3 years ago. I think I might get a second opinion from another garage although the one that told me this is usually trustworthy

Am getting an error code of 17965 Charge Pressure control. p1557 35-10 Positive deviation intermittent. Been advised will need a new turbo, oil feed pipe and return pipe. Probably set me back £1500. Does this sound right and could it be resolved some other way. eg: cleaning the turbo? Thanks

I found myself intrigued while waiting in line at a store recently. The young person ahead of me effortlessly paid for their purchases by simply holding their phone over the card reader. After a bit of research, I learned that with my Samsung Galaxy phone, I can store payment information in either Samsung Pay or Google Wallet. I'm considering giving it a try, but I'm unsure which option is better. Has anyone had experience using either of these services on their Samsung or Android phones? Greetings fellow Briskodians Hope you're all well. I woke up this morning with the urge to get my old vRS wall nut blasted. In other words getting it decoked. Never had this done but it's one of these ideas that just popped into my head because on occasion engine idles a bit rough. Have tried highest quality diesel at the pumps and forte diesel but not made a difference. Even driven it hard. EGR valve is lovely, clean and new. Economy isn't as good as my previous vRS so was contemplating as this has been a problem with this car since I bought it a few years ago. Has anyone ever had this done? did it help?

I own a vRS mk1, BLT. Am having a engine management light come on. Took it to a couple of garages and they said system regulation range exceeded p3130 intermittant. Had fault cleared, drove it hard to clear out the system but EML came back on. Been told by both garages that replacing the EGR is a difficult and time consuming job which i presume could mean super expensive. Can anyone shed any light on this? can i do it myself? does the vacuum box it connects to also have to be replaced? thanks
