Major electrical issues 2017 2.0 Tdi 190 L & K 4x4 estate.
Over the last couple of weeks, the car has cut out while driving, engine stopped, instrument cluster and infotainment screen completely blank. Roll to a halt, wait a couple of minutes, sound like a relay cyling repeatedly for a couple of seconds and all back to normal. Restarts fine and drive off no warning lights or messages.
Took to my independant mechanic, 8+ pages of fault codes, most of which appeared to be voltage related. Reset them.
Yesterday, my mechanic (and neighbour) collected it from my home, took it to his workshop (2 miles) gave it a full service which was due in 10 days, replaced and coded a new stop start AGM battery, the old one was the original and tested as "replace" then took the car for an MOT (6 miles each way) MOT passed, no advisories. Returned to workshop, checked for codes, none shown apart from seat module which hasn't worked for a while. dropped car at my home and locked it.
Later in the evening, i went to the car, unlocked it ( i think KESSY) and instrument cluster didn't light up , no response from start/stop button so cant do a code read as won't swich on, all fuses and relays in engine fuse box checked, bone dry, no corrosion. KESSY not working now, but locks and unlocks on remote, boot release woks but not electric sruts, drivers window switches lit but not functional, lights on physical buttons on infotainment lit coloured ambient led around waistline of car lit.
Disconnected battery overnight and reconnected this afternoon. no change and still won't switch on. Mecchanic is at a loss, as am I.
Any help before i contact my nearest Skoda main dealer who is just over an hour away (Furrows of Oswestry). I'm in the middle of Wales between Newtown and Machynlleth
