I changed the oil yesterday to Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 A3B4 and the car is less noisy ( cold starts do not sound like baby TDI) and i can say it is better. one thing i do not undestand, is the oil capacity is 3,6 L and i was able to put whole 4L canister and the oil meter sais there is half of the meter One more thing about the oil consumption, is there any tutorial how to do it with the jets sealant etc ? I get my car fixed and looked after with my good friend who knows about cars so we could do it one day.

I know, not gonna visit this service anymore. I went to other service and they said the oil computation fix could cost 2 500 euro so..:D why is 5w-40 better than the 30 ?

Hello, in one service they changed it to 10w-60 for some reason and cold starts are bad with this oil. i am living in Czech Republic, so do u recommend 30 or 40 ?

Hello, Need advice, what oil should i use on my Fabia, the thing is, curently i have 10w-60 and in previous article i was recomended to have 5w-30 or 5w-40, which one should i use ? and specific brand etc. From Castrol site i was recomended only 5w-30 specifilcly this oil CASTROL EDGE 5W-30 C3 and this CASTROL MAGNATEC STOP-START 5W-30 A3/B4
