  1. Good shout erindad. Hadn’t thought of that. What method did you use to extract the old and put in the new? I was thinking a bit of string strapped down VERY well to the jet spray end and just pull old tube out and hope it doesn’t tangle/ come away. Then reverse procedure with new tube. OR, I was thinking that I might just tape up (with Gorilla Tape) if Hope was obvious....
  2. I have exactly the same issue! Usual disconnection culprits all checked and all ok. Jet blown through and totally cleared. Suspect the break is at, or close to, where the rubber corrugated sleeve/gaitor (LHS of the estate door) is that houses electrical connectors and the rear wiper delivery tube...I can see the water dribbling around gaitor. It pours out the bottom of the estate door (when door is closed). Think we have exactly the same problem! I’ve checked on Skoda-parts.com. There is a Hose repair kit. It gives diameters. It’s a set of shrink fit sleeves: https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/octavia-2/spare-parts/body/windscreen-and-headlights-washing/rear-part-454.html Nearly 30 Euros though! Shut the Front Door! That’s just a bonkers price!!
  3. Hi there, I know this thread is over 10 years of age....but just wanted to ask a few questions regarding removal of the two inner plastic covers on my Octavia Mk2 estate. I noticed the rear wiper spray nozzle wasn’t doing anything. Consequent testing showed a wet area near the rear left arch (near cd changer)..however washer pipe was connected, and it appears water is dripping from the top of the estate door. So, either pipe disconnected cracked within the estate door OR the nozzle is blocked....and dripping down the inner door onto rear light fittings etc AND washer liquid coming out near boot lock too. Quick questions are: 1) do I need to remove BOTH plastic covers on the estate door, or can I just remove the top plastic cover around the top of the door brake light area? 2) if yes to removing top plastic bit - is it a case of firm (but fair) pulling? And should have spare clips in case any break? 3) Once top plastic bit is off, what do you do to remove the nozzle for checking/ dunking in boiling water? And can you just repair splits joins quite reasonably with gorilla tape or glue? Any help/piccies gratefully received! Got a boot full of diluted screen washer fluid currently🙄....and know my car’s gonna stink of stale nastiness over Winter!☹️ thanks!
