Hi fella sorry to bother you but would you have a vag com reader as i have a problem on my fabia vrs (eng management light on followed by the ASR light 5mins later with miss fire. I live in Newport also, Willing to pay or buy a couple of beers. Cheers Andy

Sorry to say that the best car i have ever owned has been sold.Going to a good home though (a friends wife) and will be well looked after. 8 years of good motoring,shame the change of job dictated the sale. Still got the Fabia to play around with if i can get the keys off the Mrs.

Could people please keep a look out for any car in the Cardiff / Newport area of South Wales that is not a black fabia vrs with a black grill and red leather seats using the reg J1 EAA as they were stolen off my car this evening in the Marshfield area. Police have been informed, thanks.

Based in South Wales, the garage were not going to swap the ecu just check the voltage coming out of mine to compare with the voltage coming out of my mates ecu. (i hope)

Anyone help with advice on a ecu problem on a mates car (oct vrs 54 plate). Hesitates badly when reaches 3000rpm, he has taken the car into a local garage and they have told him that they suspect a ecu problem(low voltage on one side ) what ever that means. Due to the cost of replacing the ecu is it possible to by a reconditioned unit or is it better to by new and are there diffrent types for this make and model. My car is in the same garage on Monday for a wheel bearing replacement so they said that they are going to test the voltage on mine as a comparision test to confirm a ecu problem on his.

I,ve got a APR Stage 2 fitted by Awesome but no rr figures, never been a great diffrence between stage 1 and stage 2 on mine. -

Taken the linkage off today, found one side sized tried for 1 hour to free with no joy. tried the wd40 route, so off to breakers.

Front wiper motor seems to be giving up the ghost. What ever speed you select it takes at least 3sec to clear the screen. anyone had this problem before and was it the motor on it,s way out?

Stick to pro speed for the exhaust.

Trying to get captiol in newport to replace mine this friday. Knocking noise from n/s/f maybe this is the problem? Gone through 5 sets of front tires since new only done 36k.(still under warranty
