  1. Well, thanks everybody, seems I'm quite dumb. You were co.oletly right, the lights can be switched off independently on the menu:
  2. The strips on the door work, so I think it's on. I'll have a look but I don't remember that you could only switch off the center console one and keep the doors working
  3. Hello guys, Tonight I realized that my center ambient light (the one that goes all tough the console, from side to side of the car) is not working. As it continues trough the doors it works. I'm afraid it stopped working a month ago, when I brought the car to have the right side mirror assembly. Is it possible that there is a connector around that mirror area they left disconnected? I don't want to bring the car to the repair shop arguing it worked before and stopped working after the mirror repair, as I'm not 100% sure, so if I could have a look, it would be nice. the light that's not working is the thin led stripe that red, from the cockpit to the doors) (Picture not mine, stolen from another post.. thabks) Thanks for any help or hint!
  4. Thanks a lot. I own a couple of those, but I was looking for a “cleaner” (aesthetically) solution
  5. Thanks everybody for the suggestions. I’ll end up with a 12v to 5V adapter on the lighter plug
  6. Thanks for the best wishes. i know it’s not the end of the world and there are many Solutions to my “problem” but... it would have become handy to be charging it with the car completely off. I understand they don’t allow it to avoid battery drain issues, but... let me decide if I want to charge something or not! I don’t like brands babysitting me as I were stupid (which sometimes I am, but it’s my decision!) 😆
  7. example that made me ask: this afternoon my daughter fell and broke an arm. N the hospital due covid there is a one person in not with the patient, so I had to Wait outside the hospital while my wife was with her. To kill some time I was browsing internet prom the car and realized that I could run out of battery my on my phone so I when to the car park (very close to the entrance, it’s incredible how empty are ER this days) and jump on my superb. I plugged the phone in and.... realized that I hat to have the car switched on 1 for the charger to work... so either I run out of battery on the car (position 1 consumes much more watts than just the usb as the interior light ,nav etc) or phone’s....
  8. Hello, is there any coding or another way to keep the usb (any usb) with power while the car is shut off? i know, I can run out of battery if I leave something chugging power for too long, but sometimes is very handy....
  9. well, seems I'm going to the dealership... I hope the errors were stored on the system and they dont think I'm crazy.... I'll be back reporting, but.. maybe in a couple of months! 😞
  10. Thanks Radar works fine, when the issue occurs, the car dont recognize trafic sings or lines (the linbes even dissapear from the screen where they used to be white or orange when activated). but it can keep the distance with the car ahead. it's seems to be camera related, glass is clean (and original from factory) and weather in my area is nice, so no fog, rain, etc... happens during daytime too... car is new, original wheels and rims, no change on ride hieight...
  11. I’m a happy owner of a superb Iii Facelift sport line Tdi dsg. around 5K miles. seems that my lane and traffic sign camera is malfunction tin. Like each 3 days, after starting the car and driving for 2 or 3 minutes I get a warning that both systems stopped working. If I switch the ignition off and on, and activate both system again on the menu, they work perfect. it Bugs me that it stops working, and the annoying bit of having to activate them again on the menu. its a common issue? (I know, bring it to the dealer... but I have no replacement car and I can not waste a workday morning...)
  12. Fun to see so manny (and opposite) opinions about kessy. ovbiously it’s a controversial system
