  1. No towbar fitted, but thanks for the idea.
  2. Don't believe it's coming from the seat as the noise is apparent with the seat locked in position and when it is down, but I will double check again. Think I need to completely remove the wheel arch trim inside the boot to see properly what is rattling. I have partially removed the top to look inside. Has anyone removed this trim ? It looks as though the seat base has to be unbolted.
  3. Have checked the door latches and they are all tight, so don't think it is those. Thanks for the idea though.
  4. Had thought of that possibility and drove the car with the seat down and rattle still there. Thanks anyway.
  5. I have a rattle from the C pillar area on driver's side and I cannot identify the source of the noise. It is a metallic rattle and sounds like a nut is coming undone on a component. I have removed the trim from the C pillar and the plastic cover hiding the seat belt mechanism and sat in the boot whilst my son drives the car. It sounds as though it is coming from the underside of the wheel arch, so yesterday I took the wheel arch lining out and checked there was nothing loose underneath and there wasn't! Anyone else had this ? It is driving me nuts!
