  1. maybe... but why the fan didn't work a week ago when i was at the mechanic with the A/C on? i just want to see the fan kick on when the A/C off - then i know everything ok. just check yesterday night , i started the engine and waited the engine to warm up. i noticed the upper hose was hot and the lower was cold, the left side tank of the radiator (the black plastic that the radiator fan switch screws into) was also cold and the exposed metal part of the fan switch (the part that you put the socket on the tighten or loosen it) was also cold - weird! maybe it some kind of blockage in the radiator?
  2. i affrid to make a long driver. i've made a short drive for about 10 min and stopped for another 10 min to see if the fan kick on. the ambiant temp when i did the drive was about 18C no warning light at all. just the blue light but after 2 min it went away as should.
  3. Hi, I have a fabia mk ii 1.6 (BTS) and the fan not working. i've replaced the fan module (relay) since it had some charring around one of the terminal (and because it was a fake one - made in china) i've removed the radiator fan sensor and put it in hot water and it's working (it shorted the upper pin with the one of the lower pins in one temperature and the uppe and the other lower pin in hotter temp (didn't check the exact temp though)) i've shorted the fan sensor connector and the fan's working in both high and low speeds. when i turn on the A/C the fan's working (when i went to the mechanic, the fan didn't work at all, even when the A/C was on). i don't know what the problem could be. Maybe it's a thermostat problem and sensor doesn't get hot enough OR the radiator is clogged ? how long the car need to be driven to get to operating temp ? could you please help? thanks Ido p.s. i've made a short test drive and then stopped for 10 mins . the upper radiator hose was hot and the lower was colder and still the fan didn't worked, * why skoda didn't fit a temperature gauge in the cluster is beyond me.
