  1. Yep that's the one, didn't want to order from there because they want £8 to ship a £2 gasket!!!
  2. Hello, I have replaced the downpipe on my 1.3 Felicia hatch and need to replace the downpipe to catalytic convertor gasket. I think it's a conical gasket, but it didn't have one when I removed it. Does anyone know what size it is and where is best to buy one? Thanks
  3. No worries, my seats very rarely go all the way back anyway! Any idea if there's any other consoles that would fit? The issue is that the felicia puts the back rest adjustment knob on the seats in the middle of the car, rather than the edges, so they get in the way
  4. I like the look of that. Does it bolt onto the same bolts that are used to hold the back of the front seats in?
  5. Hello! I have recently bought a Felicia 1.3 MPi, with only 57k on the clock. Much nicer to drive than I expected, but I am really missing having covered storage in the centre console and an arm rest for when I'm on the motorway. Has anyone modified the interior of a Felicia to have an arm rest? Or is there a standard arm rest I can fit? Thanks!
  6. That's what I hoped. Did a bit of maths based on a dynochart I found and it seems to do 30.3 mph per 1000 rpm in 5th, putting it at ~2310rpm at 70mph.
  7. Do you reckon the fabia would be higher than 2400? Can't imagine it'd be that much higher, a diesel running at 2400+ rpm at 70 seems a bit ridiculous
  8. Anyone know what rpm the engine is at when doing 70mph in 5th gear? I do a lot of motorway miles and wanna know how loud it'll be when cruising on the motorway
  9. @StevesTruck from what I've read they seem decent enough in the bends, but still fairly comfy. I'll be doing a lot of motorway miles, as well as B road hooning in mine, so both are fairly important to me. Any idea what the 5 speed manual is like? In terms of feel, and rpm at 70mph? @Roottootemoot ill definitely have a look at that mk2 1.6tdi, thanks! I do like the Mk2, but I can't afford those fuel and repair costs of the 1.4TSI- need some TDI!
  10. @Roottootemoot do you mean that the Mk1 estate would probably be lighter if these weights were removed then? Or as @StevesTruck says, maybe they're there more for balance and worth leaving in the back?
  11. I think everything but the rear bumper is bolt on, yeah, so should be pretty easy. Any tips on how to do the rear bumper? I hadn't considered cleaning it! Would a mk2 fabia interior fit straight into the Mk1 estate? Or would seats and door cards need any modification? They must have noticed there was a market for it so made a VRS for the mk2! I don't think it's too much heavier, but does offer me the boot space I need.
  12. Remap will get me up to 150 - 155 bhp, happily more than the stock VRS, but a remapped VRS can get up to 180, so turbo and injectors will probably happen further down the line. Thanks @sepulchrave for the advice, think I just need people to tell me to go for it and I'll jump in 😂
  13. Planning to buy a 1.9tdi pd100 Mk1 Fabia Estate, with the hope of eventually creating the Mk1 diesel Fabia VRS ESTATE that Skoda never did- so pd130 turbo and injectors, Fabia VRS wheels, interior, front bumper, maybe fabricate a new rear bumper, slightly lower. Think it's been done before, but I'm trying to turn a Fabia Estate as close to what Skoda would've produced if they'd ever made a Mk1 fabia estate. What do people think?
