I'm a grandad too! I still have vinyl albums and singles.... I don't see why you cannot have it all, SD card, CD player and the USB facility, which I have used for years now. It's got nothing to do with age, it has everything to do with having the option! 😁

Hopefully this is not a question that has been asked before and answered, like, a million times! Sorry if it has.... Anyway, I picked up my new VRS yesterday and it does not come with a CD slot just the two SD card ones. My Kodiaq DID have a CD player facility and, I suppose, that was an Amundsen unit and my VRS has a Canton one? The obvious question ( sorry!) is whether I can 'plug and play' and change the unit I have in the VRS for one that has a CD player facility? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm Rob and kinda like Skodas….😀 The only ones I have owned have been bought new, although I have always had a liking for them over the years, long before they were established as 'main stream' models. I have always fancied a Rapid 136 Coupe and can remember the article (Autocar? ) where it was given a brilliant write up! Anyway, my first modern was a Fabia Monte Carlo ( I went over to Skoda as my son was a sales guy there ) then to an Octavia 1.2 SE and from that to a Kodiaq 1.4 SEL. Today I picked up a VRS Challenge, it's fabulous and reminds me a bit of my old MG ZT190 I owned many moons ago. A 'PROPER performance saloon and not some sort of track refugee. I am a happy chappy!
