  1. Hope someone can advise. We need to replace the drivers (right) manual fold door mirror, which someone kindly knocked off our MK2 Superb. Question one, can a manual fold mirror be replaced with electric fold? I don't care whether it will operate electrically, it's just that most second hand examples seem to be electric fold. Question two, is there a video anywhere which covers removal of the door panel? Any advice would be much appreciated.
  2. Was a probate sale, so that was not an option.
  3. Photo attached - it's a circular rocker switch (approx 15mm dia) with no markings. It lights up when in the on position and remains lit, even when the ignition is switched off and key removed. It does not look like a retro fitted switch, but I could be wrong? There's not much to add really, but obviously intrigued. Thx Ian
  4. I have just purchased a 2009 Skoda Superb 2.0 S TDI 140 and there is a round orange rocker switch on the Steeering Column, just below and forward of the Ignition key switch; the purpose of which I am unable to work out. The user manual indicates there is the option of a starter button on the column, but that looks more like a push button and in a slightly different position. On my car, it's definitely a rocker switch, which lights up when in the on position, but apart from the switch lighting up and glowing orange, it doesn't appear to do anything, so nothing in either the on or off positions. Hope someone can enlighten me? Thank you.
