  2. Hi W, Not sure but i think it's not the 110 ps as I thought the 110ps was for 7 speed auto?
  3. This may be of interest to some. I have a 2018 Fabia SEL TSI auto , low mileage at 13,000. Regularly serviced. Last week I experienced slight delay to gear change then within 2 days there was a loss of power, clunky gear changing and little response to throttle pedal. ECU fault showed on dash. Car was still drivable. Phoned my nearest Skoda garage who quoted £250 + vat for initial diagnostics. Thought that was a bit on high side so took car to my local garage who quoted £75 for initial diagnostics. Diagnostics showed misfire on 2 cylinders, multi misfires. Further investigations and fault illiminations revealed a faulty ignition coil . This was changed and also all had new spark plugs. Total cost £292 including Vat. Very happy with the garage attitude and price . Unusual fault for such a low mileage car, but I have never had a better car .
  4. My fabia is 2 years old later this month. Could someone please clarify if free breakdown and recovery service is provided by Skoda for 3 years or is it just 2? Have found it a bit difficult to get an answer, apparently Skoda have a partnership with the RAC.
  5. Advice please. I have a 2 year old auto fabia with 4900 miles on clock, which I have had for a year. Dashboard now displaying message "oil service due". Having searched skoda recommendations and this site I am a bit confused what service I actually need and my local skoda dealer has not been much help. Not sure if it has had any service at all. Also do I really need to go to a skoda dealer or would a vw or I dependant garage be acceptable for what I imagine is a minor service? Thanks in advance.
