  1. This is the only part of the car I have neglected (42,000 miles 2016 model) and does need a good exterior wash. Mechanically it has been well looked with a full major service every 12 months, And has a main dealer cambelt change and front discs and brake pads and cleaned rear brake pads. I will also need to replace the front shocks since they're leaking and occasionally creak when driving over poorly maintained roads to work. I gave all windows seals in this warm weather a good soapy brush with a toothbrush and sponge and as suggested a spray with GT85. Which will allow me to determine in time whether or not this has solved the issue.
  2. The Seals have perished beyond any repair, they've become hard with cracks. The condensation only effects the side windows. and nothing inside the car is causing this issue. All I need is links to get them replaced. Not sure if they're weather strips or window seals. Cannot find the exact pats online?
  3. The seal has started to become hard with cracks. So it is evidently perished and needs replacing, otherwise there is a risk of water leaking into the door frames.
  4. Hi I'm looking to replace the strip above the window frame (above the door card) on the exterior of the glass which has been perished due to green fungi. And is causing condensation in the interior of the front and rear windows. I am unsure of the product name and whether it is possible to fit myself without needing to remove the whole window. Any original Skoda part numbers will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
  5. Thankyou for all your responses. After covering 560 miles a few days ago in 2 trips, when I returned to my car this evening I was unable to get the rear drum brakes to release (even when adding power in 1st and reverse. So I shall be contacting the dealer where I bought it from (since it's still under warranty) and get it inspected. I'll try again tomorrow, but since my drive is on a slope I'll be unable to remove the rear wheels.
  6. I brake gently, but have recently braked harshly to try and clean the pads. I normally drive short journey (to work) but drive at least 90 miles once a week. The sticking only occurs after parked for +10 hours It doesn't get worse, it just sticks pretty firmly and requires a bit of power to release them together or one wheel at a time.
  7. Hi I own a 2015 skoda Fabia with just over 30,000 miles on the clock, and for a few months now I've had issues with sticking rear drum brakes. This is a particular nuisance when trying to drive to work in the morning, which requires a bit of power to get to release with 2 bongs. I can even feel the 2 rear wheels flexing as I try to force them to release. I even resorted to parking in first gear, but since my drive is on a slope I forgot the handbrake was released and started rolling forward when I tried to start the car. 12 months ago I had the rear drum brakes cleaned and hand brake tightened, so it shouldn't need cleaning. My car is still under extended nissan dealership warranty were I bought the vehicle in 2019, so I was wondering whether I'd be able to raise that issue with them? Please let me know whether this is a common issue and what can be done to solve it.

  9. Thanks for all your help. I guess I'll have to live without it.

  11. It says Hardware: H11 Software: 0137 There's a device part number and media codec which I don't you'll need.
  12. How is it possible t get 130 mpg? I have a 75ps MPI and can barely get past 67 mpg. I'm guessing you were driving downhill or parked at idle.
  13. You must be driving a diesel.
  14. Hi I own a late 2015 SE spec fabia which has mirrorlink, which is a problem since my android phone doesn't support it. Since most phones don't support mirror link is there a way to upgrade the system to support android auto and help connect my android phone for sat navigation?
