Hi when I start my car on cold startup I hear a slight rattle nothing major but it’s there so when I press the clutch pedal the noise stops and when the car is warm the rattle is non existent was wondering if that was a sign of the dual mass flywheel playing up or something clutch related Thanks

hi folks anyone experiencing pump noise from underneath near drivers side like auxiliary water pump on tdi vrs is that normal or does it require attention

That’s really good going Last time I brimmed my tank with 25 miles left on display I checked with the on board computer and total mileage was 330 Thats all local mileage Mines seems to give me around 45 miles before the needle moves off from full mark then it is all downhill On the other hand average fuel fill up is around £55/60

Is that all local mileage or mix of both cause most I get is around 300/330 full tank on tdi manual

Wish I drove it like I stole it to many mobile speed vans about maybe I should do that 😂😂

My tdi vrs roughly gives me around 300/330 full tank also being a manual Did think about the dpf issues though My car is in the rally green and does turn heads but for tips it’s a no no 😂 Think I’ll have to have a drive of the petrol version and make the decision from there True roads are crap even on the standard 18 inch still bangs into potholes all day long Thanks for the info 👍

Oh ok I see Tdi vrs must be different then

I thought the top up was 4.6 Ltrs

Just off the subject in process of servicing the car anybody knows were the pollen filters goes and any special procedures required for fuel filter change thanks

Hi folks I have a vrs when going over speed bumps the suspension creaks at first I thought it was the D bushes but after booking it into the dealer the greased the top shocker mounts and all was well so today the noise has come back besides replacing the top shocker mounts do I need to replace anything else or should I replace anything else thankyou

I had a listen to this noise again today it’s near the drivers side on the bottom of engine someone said could be the oil vacuum pump anybody notice this on there tdi engine ? Few discussions on this pointing to air on compressor and pulleys

My car is 2016 it’s done 44k on clock I took it down to the local dealer and service technician came out and said it’s normal noise but reading other people’s stories it’s seems to point as if it’s water pump or vacuum oil pump related noise it’s lower down

Anyone any ideas ?
