Never fixed it. My mechanic said it doesn't serve any particular purpose and told me to chuck it in the bin, so I did reluctantly! Hate things not working properly. Ooh. Thank you. Hello! I'm having the same issue with mine now, it was all fine and went back in no problem after I changed the pollen filter myself earlier this year but someone's just done some work on the car and now the blasted thing keeps falling out. Mine looks much tidier then the one above and still feels quite firm on the edges but I can't get the bugger to stay put! Did you manage to get a replacement and did it stay up? I don't know what to search for when ordering the part, does anyone know what this piece is actually called?
