  1. 4 summer tyres for sale, selling due to replacing them with all weather tyres. Bought 2015 Roomster with them on 100 miles only. Drove to Czech and back and used it for long journeys to airport etc. as we have another car for town. Hankook Optimo k415 - 195/55 R15 85H Thread 6.5-7mm, only done 6500 miles, in great condition Dot 4014 £130 ono, might sell in twos, in which case price will be £70 per pair I am in Sheffield, buyer collects

  3. Hi guys, can't find answer regarding wheels. I have set of steels with winter tyres on for my old MK1 Fabia vrs. Can I use those wheels on Roomster 1.2 SE 105Bhp 2010? I am thinking changing to Roomster and as I prefer to have winter tyres in winter would be nice if I could keep them, They have tyres size 195x50x15 on them Any thoughts? Thanks Petr
  4. Hi Guys, my blower heater is blowing fuse 68 (fresh air blower) and partially melting fuse box. When I fit new 25 amp fuse it goes bye bye within seconds. I had identical problem last year, had both blower and resistor replaced, both parts were from scrapyard. I want to have both blower and resistor replaced, this time with new parts. I found code for blower heater resistor on this forum: 6Q0 959 263 A Found code for blower heater on google but not sure if correct: 6Q2 820 015 G Car was made in 2004. Also, as I am not exactly DIY guy, would anyone be interested to do the job for me in Sheffield/Chesterfield/Rotherham area? Will pay of course in cash or beer. Let me know. Where is the best place to buy the parts? Cheers Petr
  5. cheers, found 2 places now in Sheffield where they will do it within £210 if I provide the door and they respray and swap over everything regarding insurance, do you know if I need to use door from another vrs (is it reinforced as compared to standard vrs?) or can I use any old fabia? someone told me there is riveted alluminium plate in there
  6. Hi, need estimate from peoples experience how much am I looking in repairing damage on my door in Fabia vRS. The glass is in tact. Will be asking for quotes in Sheffield but if you know reliable guys/places let me know. linky to photo: http://sdrv.ms/16TYzDA cheers for looking Petr

  8. Hi guys, my fog lights were stolen last night, from yellow vrs, grill bits are gone a swell. Right wing is off (as not aligned) - about month ago this happened with right wing and I thought somebody hit me when parking. But now I understand they tried to steal them fogs before and probably were disturbed. Do they fit other volkswagen group cars? Damn it, does anyone know how much is roughly replacement cost? I reckon it will need new wiring as well. Thinking about just covering it - like you see on non vrs models, anyone knows part number? Thanks for reading. Petr
  9. Hi, my AC/ventilator completely packed up and fuse 68 fried twice now - fresh air blower fuse. Before it happened only 2,3 and 4 settings were blowing air with or without AC switched on. Just would like to make sure that's the only problem before I attempt replacing the blower ( I hope it's easy). Would anyone with vagcom be willing to diagnose my car please? In exchange for pint or two? Cheers Petr
  10. hi guys, my fiancee is looking for refresher driving lessons preferably in Fabia Mk1. She is afraid to sit in my vRS and would like some practice first. She hasn't driven for long time, took 4 lessons in small car (she doesn't know what it was...) then sat in vRS and panicked (it looks different than the other car....) You get me right? of course the best would be driving school in vRS, second best Fabia diesel googled and found "alpha female driving school" not phoned them yet, but wondered if any of you knows other schools cheers Petr

  13. You can get 195x50x15 Toyo S952 Snowprox from camskill.co.uk for £38.17 , no this is not typing error. I am awaiting delivery today. Cost me for 4 tyres delivered £162.48 On the top of that 4 brand new 15'' steels from volkswagen forum member for £50. These wheels should last good few winters. Is that expensive? Well depends on your budget but for my peace of mind if I am involved in accident I know I did my best by using right tyres. And if the weather is above 7 degrees my tyres will still perform excellently especially in wet, but they will wear off faster depending on your driving style. Or I simply swap the wheels won't take long. cheers
  14. could any of you VAG-COM owners bring your clever laptop to diagnose mysterious battery drain on my furby, please cheers
