  1. Hi everyone, I have a 2008 Fabia mk2 estate greenline, 1.4tdi 59kw. Lately, my ESP light came on on the highway. Turning the car off and on again shut the light off, but then it came back again after about half an hour. Pressing on the button does nothing. When the light is on, the ESP still works, i have tried it on the snow. I also cannot turn off the ESP with the button when all is okay. When I press the button, the light comes on but ESP still works. About a month ago, I was sliding in some parking lots and the ESP could be turned off normally. ABS light does not light up with it. Did anyone have a similar problem? I have changed the brake pedal switch earlier this year, but for another reason. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, me again with my stubborn girl.. 2 main problems rn: Front windows didn't work from the day i got the car, tried all sorts of stuff (window motors, fixed all the broken and almost broken wires in door jams, switches...), and then, one day they just started working. Both of them... until passenger (left) side decided to make a krrrr noise and slowly drop down... took off the door card and seen the window regukator plastic thingy had broken and twisted up the wires.. so I just basically broke it a little but more so I could free up the window and pull it back up. The car is a 2005, so the metal panel in the door is rivetted 🙄. I can drill it out and change it by myself, but does the regulator mechanism fit from an older model? Are the mounting holes in the same places? I can find it online but it isn't specified for which one it is ( it just says from '99 to '07) And can it be put back together with screws or smth? My other problem is with the front suspension. I recently changed the front right shock, bearing, both ARB bushes and end links (rods, stabilisers, however they are called in English) The car now pulls just slightly to the right and the steering wheel is a bit to the right, about 15 degrees or so. Nothing strange there, alignment is off, as expected. But! When I drive it a bit harder the steering wheel moves to like 45 degreees to the right from center, and the car pulls a bit more. After driving lightly for a bit it goes back. Also when accelerating hard (1st, 2nd) it pulls to the right, when letting off the gas it pulls to the left. Is there something loose or could an alignment fix that? I don't have access to a lift/hoist, doing all the work on the parking lot, so any suggestion is well welcome. Also, when the CV joint is making a noise when turning left, which side should it be? 😅 Thanks in advance!

  5. Damn, i´m in such a dillema right now.. guess I´ll just have a go at it ad find out.. If it really is all those parts then i´m selling the box, the car and getting a real vRS lol
  6. Thanks a lot, I really hope that fits.. I have read somewhere that i would have to change the complete subframe, plus shifter cables and a lot other stuff..
  7. Oh damn, I´ll have to go back and hope no one took the hubs.. Do i need the driveshafts also? And does the gearbox fit my engine? I had no idea they are that different.. Thanks for the info anyway
  8. Hi everyone, I recently went to a scrapyard and saw a nice yellow vRS, the engine was out, but the whole front subframe was there. I took the tranny, front brake calipers and the dash. Then i saw a sticekr that said it was chipped, and yup, the ECU was still there! I even found the key in the car, so naturally I also took all that. Tried swapping the ECU, dash and the key, but it does not work. Not a problem, I can get an immo off at a friend when this pandemic stops, and i swapped the dash plastic nice looking thingy and the needles. My question is does the vRS tranny have an LSD? I tried spinning one oputput shaft and the other turns the same way. And does that tranny fit my PD100? Do I only need a clutch or is there more work involved? Also, what size are factory brakes (discs)? I want to buy those new, but I did not take the old ones from the scrappers, and I don't know the size...
  9. I know of those bt-fm transmitters, and i have one, but i want aux, because it Is quicker and just more convienient for me. I could get an aftermarket head unit, but they Always look tacky and out of place..
  10. Hi everyone, I would really like to have an AUX port in my Fabia. Is it possible to wire up and has it been done before? I do know some electrics stuff, but don't wanna open up the radio if it can't be done. Any help is appreciated!

  12. UPDATE! Hi everyone, i finally got a dash, a 2006 TDI combi showed up on a scrapyard and i went and snatched the dash, mine Is model 6y0920 871 d and the one i got is 6y0920 872d, I don't think that's a problem. Plugged it in, everything works beautifully, but it has lights on: the immobilizer, the check engine and airbag light. I got my dad's Chinese Delphi knockoff and erased the airbag, went into the dash, only code is " faulty key", when I erase it it says system ok, until I connect again and it shows it again. The immo light won't stop flashing. Tried going into the immo also, the same thing as the dash, same code, erase it, it comes back. The check engine I cannot solve because this diagnostic can't go into the ECU, no idea why, it has a problem with some VAG cars🤷🏻‍♂️. Does anybody know how to solve that immo light, it goes on my nerves now that everything is working..
