Like I said auto electrician came out and had a look Main error code was p0600 or something: ECU has lost connection with one of its controllers more than once. I'm attaching the report he gave me

So these three lights been flashing intermittently, sometimes just flashing, sometimes periods of time. When it does that, the Speedo doesn't work and it doesn't count the miles traveled. Also it says no/low fuel on the mfd, fuel guage needle sways about but still more or less right. The auto electrician says it's the abs controller unit which is on the abs pump. What is the part number for this or how easy is it to find? Any advice/info would be much appreciated It's 2008 pd140 TDI Lauren n Clemente Thanks

did you need any cable adapters for either of these because looking at the pictures of the back of them, they dont look like the back of my stereo the 1st picture is the 1st link and the second picture is my stereo and they look different, (the xtrons looks like only the bottom half of my stereos plug)

it seems i have these xenon headlights and one of them has started to have a pinkish tint and my brother says its starting to go so i need to change it and i should change them both theres seems to be several different types, halfords suggests i need d2s but my brother showed me a youtube video and they seem to be d3s, so how do i tell which ones i need? and which ones? theres ones for 25£ each or some winpower ones that are 24£ a pair. any advice would be apriciated

So I had a b5 pd130 passat and it fired up instantly (tbh at 1st I was surprised how easy it was) But I my mk2 Octavia pd140 seems to need to turn over 2 or 3 times (even after waiting for glow plug light and other lights to go out) Is this what one to expect or is it a symptom of something?

picked car up today aand this is the stereo in it, plays mp3s from stereo and it has an aux port under the arm rest on the display it shows the reversing display but if i change the stereo will i still get the beeps? aslong as i get beeps i can live without the display

was hoping to edit my original post, but couldnt find how but any way, picked it up today, had a nice 4hour drive home in it, was alright but its yet to prove as enjoyable as my passat was

Hey guys, Was wondering if it was simple to change the stereo? Is it straight swop? (Bar maybe facia adapter or iso adapter) Tried using search and found confusing canbus stuff And also, I think it says MP3 on the front, does it play them off cd or does it take usb? And listing said something about Bluetooth telephone, is it just for hands free or would it stream music? Cheers guys

Hey guys, Ile be getting an 08 Octavia 2ltr TDI pd Says it's the 140bhp version, but when I looked into getting a remap there was graphs showing 8v and 16v How do I tell which one Ile be getting? And when did they start doing dpf's? Will mine have one? Cheers guys
