Hi thanks for your reply, and no i can't be sure if the DSG was ever serviced, no one told me not to change it and I'm more than happy to give it whatever it needs, I went through my service book to double check last main dealer stamp is @ 59k and the last one the car was serviced by previous owner himself but doesn't say anywhere DSG got serviced. Just looking around for kind advice, from what I have seen most of the ppl just drain old Oil, replace the filter,pump 6 liters of the fresh oil in, start the engine let it run For a while, go through all the gears when oil is up to correct temp and then let the excess drain on running engine. But I still don't know how to perform Basic Settings reset. Is it sth that can be DIY'd or should I seek a trusted garage?

Hi all. Looking for someone to help me with diagnosing my dsg issue. First thing in the morning I get slight slip in 1st and reverse and it disappears after a few minutes of driving. Also there is a distinct judder when reaching motorway cruising speed around 60-70. Gear changes are smooth and there is no noises nor rattles. Car mileage is 70k, and it was serviced accordingly. I was told to try reset Dsg to Basic settings and perform adaptation. I have Obd Eleven which doesn't return any fault codes live nor stored ones. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi all and thanks for help and suggestions. I have successfully fitted and hardwired the dash cam. My multimeter was fine and @chimaera was right. I was dumb enough to measure the fuses on wrong terminals 🤭. Also my dash cam settings caused a little confusion. jjc thank you kindly for your offer 👍🏻.

Believe me or not that's what I did. None of the fuses is showing any voltage. Tried battery terminals to make sure multimeter is ok. They are all ok for continuity but can't measure any voltage either with ignition on or off. Tried plugging the dash cam tap and every single fuse I tap into powers the dashcam even with ignition off. I feel extremely dumb. I must have missed something very simple...

I've got a funny situation here trying to hard wire my dash cam. I have tried fuses that in theory should only be powered after ingintion is turned on eg. Heated seats, rear screen defrost and unless I'm doing something wrong the dash cam is charging all the time regardless if the ignition is on or not. Can anyone help? TIA

Hi all. I have recently purchased my 09 Superb Elegance. Everything seems to be working as it should apart the headlight aim. I tried to perform a scan but my tool says no communication to gateway. I have successfully scanned other VAG cars with this and it allows almost same service level as VCDS to my surprise it only showed me battery charging status and voltage and engine controller module and nothing more. Any ideas? Or even better any fellow owners around Hampshire area with VCDS or recommended garages around me? Any tips highly appreciated.

@chimaera I think cockatoo mentioned obd eleven which gives you more access than regular obd 2 scanner dongle. It has long coding etc. @Cockatoo where are you? I do have obd 11 and more than happy to let you use it.

Mine is UK version and it does show speed in MFD and it is in km/h, my park assist default shows cars on the left.
