Thanks for that ,but i was wondering if i could maybe disconnect a wiring connector from the wiring loom which may be connect to the injectors individually and see if it made any significant change to how the engine ticked over similar to removing an ignition lead from a spark plug on a petrol engine

I have still got misfiring problems with my 56 plate superb,is there any way i can test the injectors via the wiring loom which has been replaced.Engine code is BZP.

Hi there`.I recently purchased an 07 56 plate 1.9 superb,engine code bpz.The guy who sold it to me had just had a new turbo fitted and the car drove well enough but had plumes of bluey/white smoke coming from the exhaust,but as i say it drove fine ,turbo kicking in when expected but just that damn smoke.I took it to my usual mechanic and he said he thought it was injector related and said it could be fixed no probsSo he fitted a used set of injectors from a 55 plate passat which didnt work properly as they apparently were not compatible,he then fitted another set from an octavia which he said matched and once fitted seemed to be ok.The car seemed a little lumpy when ticking over,smoke problem completely gone but seemed to be ok at high revs.Upon taking it for a run car was seriously underperforming as if only firing on 3 cylinders untill the turbo kicks in,then it pulls at at about 95%. The car starts first time,even at -5 degrees.Any help please guys?

I am bigskud owner of a Skoda Superb 1.9tdi 100bhp on the 56 plate, a W reg Octavia 1.9tdi glx & previous owner of an Octavia 1.9tdi ambient on the 02 plate which served me well.

NO I PHONED LOCAL SKODA DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT WAS NOT NECCESSARY, WHICH I FOUND STRANGE,DOES THIS NEED TO BE DONE OR IS IT JUST DEALERSHIPS AT IT AS USUAL, THEY SAID IT WOULD NEED TO GO IN FOR A 75 QUID DIAGNOSTIC CHECK

JUST RECENTLY REPLACED INJECTORS IN AN 07 100 SUPERB PD IT NOW TAKES AGES TO FIRE UP AND IDLES ERRATICLY BUT WHEN DRIVING,GOES LIKE THE WIND.ANY THOUGHTS?
