  1. just a guess but could the voltages be a bit low going to ecu from each module, could you try another battery
  2. Had another go this weekend at replacing rear discs but this time I reversed car up onto my 2.5 ton car ramps which are about 8" in height. This gave me quite a bit more room under the yeti and also with the suspension not being suspended as on axle stands seem to give easier access to the bolts. With 18" breaker bar, spline socket, flexible joint I managed to break all the joints loose,The ramps gave a foot rest to give me extra force to loosen them,I then took car off ramps and put car on to axle stands to remove and replace both discs and pads with new Brembos (inner face of old original discs where completely covered in crusty rust) Once both sides where complete with splines quite tight I reversed up ramps and torqued splne bolts to 90nm and got a good 1/4 extra with breaker bar after.
  3. Is it possible to remove or slacken the caliper bracket spline screws on 140 4x4 fl yeti (29k miles), with impact driver,Tried without success with breaker bar with yeti on axle stands as there is not enough clearance to get any power on breaker bar. Discs have corroded badly on both discs on inside edge outers look perfect
  4. Some images of Haldex V oil and pump sevice on a vw forum which I found useful https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?8908177-MK7-Haldex-Fluid-Change-DIY&s=d7ac623d76254f1289e3a26e19ad96c8

    Yeti Ordered

I am like you Colin ordered 140 diesel outdoor elegance with extravagant extras ,spare wheel ,towbar prep, and boring Silver metallic, ordered on 9th Jan from Rainworth, still waiting ,given advisory build date of week 20 if it stays at that Possibly get car second week of June unless it comes by slow boat from China........Quoted 12 weeks on date of order
  11. yes the waiting certainly starts to take the shine of the new car order, you think shall I cancel or not and will I regret whatever action I take..... I ordered outdoor 140 elegance 9th Jan (week 2) unconfirmed build date at present 12th May (week 20) dealer says if its built on Monday of that week could get Yeti by week commencing 8th June (21/22 weeks from order to delivery) I,ll have to stop visiting Briskoda forums seeing all the those who are getting delivery in the 10-12 weeks that I was originally quoted by dealer(makes the waiting harder still)
  12. My outdoor 140 was ordered 9th Jan from Rainworth been given unconfirmed build date varying between week 19 and 20 if it stays at that and delivery is 3 to 4 weeks probably get yeti first week in June (21 weeks wait) quoted originally 12/14 weeks My surname starts with "Y" if I change my surname to Adams wonder if that may help

    Yeti towbars

is your Witter towbar a detachable type (SK24Q) because I have one of these (detachable flange) to fit to my Elegance when I eventually get it. according to Witters fitting instructions for this bar and I quote Note: if desired,a bumper cover plate can be purchased from Skoda (part Numbers EEA 630 010 & HHA 381017) which allows the fitment of a cover to the bumper to hide the towbar when not towing.(Detachable tow balls only) and also Note: fit the neck kit(ZN) to the lower set of holes normally,or upper set if using the Skoda cover plate ZN being recepticle/receiver for detachable towball I assume a company like Witter would fit and test before marketting
