I have them hydraulic ramps lifts the car nice and high as ords has said the pump has only done 15k can I use VCDS to tell me the state of the dpf filter if I can would you know what % level it should be.

hello ken 2016 1.6 tdi it`s ex fleet hire i`m looking through the not service history now alls well apart from the water pump change at 95000 it does not look like the cam belt was changed should i just change the pump and cam belt? what do you think.

thanks for the reply how long should a water pump last? the pump was changed at 95000 the cars now done 110,000.

driving yesterday, temperature gauge went passed normal about 100 degrees and dpf emissions light came on, after about two minutes all was normal i checked coolant level that was fine and i had just done a two hundred mile round trip on the motorway so that was ok any suggestions?.

Sorry, the radio works fine done a scan with obd 11 that found the above fault "media player position 1 fault" but cannot clear the fault code it's just annoying that the light on the dash is on.

Hello ecomatt tried to regen with obd11 but wouldn't work for me have sent for vcds thanks for your help.

dpf light on so decided to go for run on motorway just before i reached motorway glow plug light started to flash went into limp home mode any suggestions?

i need to replace the exhaust pressure control valve does it have to be coded to the car if so can i use odb eleven

just got odb 11 still learning-on first use found four fault codes thought they maybe faults from previous owner so tried to delete pressed and held red button ,message at bottom of screen saying "problem deleting fault codes" or something like that? also way have some fault codes got a red bar on the left side and some have green-one last question how long should it take to connect mine seems to take an age about five minutes-sorry for asking so many questions thought I would get them all out the way.
